Everyday, I scour the internet for home decor and DIY ideas. I don't think I was this excited or proactive for my own wedding. In fact, I clearly remember my attitude towards my own wedding was rather "go-with-the-flow", if you get what I mean. I personally think weddings are a bit of a faff, a show you put up for relatives and close friends, not really so much for yourself.
Anyway, I digress.
As my new space is rather small, I am hoping to open up the rooms with natural lighting and white surfaces. I am still on the fence about white walls but am definitely looking into white table tops and cabinets. Not to mention, I think white is rather chic, don't you agree? Or maybe a glass table to reflect some light around the room. Hmm...

I even have a couple of DIY projects in mind. For example, I find this DIY Pantone Paint Chip Memo Board super pretty! Sadly, I don't think I can find paint chips where I live, so I am thinking of using Post It notes in various colours. Imagine, a way to reuse your Post It notes. I think that will save me some money and help with the environment!

I am also thinking of hanging some fairy lights next to my work station. My table top has to be customized due to the lack of space in the room. So, the designers designed a table that has one end supported by 2 metal poles from the ceiling. I am considering decorating the metal poles with some pretty fairy lights. The husband isn't too keen on the idea since he has to share the room with me, but I think it will add a little fun and magic to the otherwise serious and grown-up space.
